TWEED, PART TWO
Fallout is still being heard worldwide from last month’s
announcement from The Republic Of Ireland. Every nation on the planet is making
sure their view on Beyond Humans is being heard and within each of those
nations the politicians are making sure their views are being heard and trying
to make sure the people they are supposed to represent follow along.
The United States has been the loudest voice in this storm.
Some politicians in the U.S. are going as far as to say this is an act of war
against the rest of the world. Others are just debating the issue as is healthy
but most of all the U.S. government is worried that they are losing control of
the Beyond Human issue slowly as this builds across the world, within
countries, and from individual mouths, and people talk and talk and talk.
The President Of The United States standing in the rose
garden, ‘Though I respect Irelands choices when it comes to their government
affairs I still think the Beyond Human Weapons Treaty is needed to make the
world a safer place. I know these policies are skirting very thin lines but
it’s a line we are not crossing and a line that needs to be there.’
But as I said other countries are expression themselves
also. In the past most have followed the lead of the United States, mainly
because of Pulpy, but still they followed where the U.S. went on this issue but
times are changing.
From Copenhagen, Denmark, ‘The Republic Of Ireland has the
right to its own policies. The world needs to learn that not every country is
the United States. Not every country is Japan. Not every country is Iran or
Israel. Some of us can handle our own affairs.’
British Prime Minister, ‘Once again my country wants to make
it clear how we feel. This act is one of betrayal. They made an agreement with
allies and now they are backing out of that agreement to grandstand.’
Germany, ‘Maybe that treaty needs to be looked at from a
more global point of view and not just from the mouth of the United States.’
A press release from the Pope, ‘Peace can only be found in
walking with God. Beyond Humans are not Gods children, they are a sin against
God’s order.’
The Republic Of Ireland, ‘If grandstanding is speaking our
own mind and not being lead around by what the big hawks want us to think then
here is our grandstanding. We will consider any act to blockade those seeking
asylum from finding our shores, we will consider those actions acts of war.’
Russian president, ‘They speak of acts of war, do they want
war?’
Immortal cannibalistic hired killers, strangely that fits a
number of people, but specifically I’m talking about two who in appearance look
like nice young ladies with a great sense of style and mouths that could seduce
suicide from the Pope.
Well, one of them did get a Pope to commit suicide. There
was a big cover up, planted story about female Pope to district and misdirect.
But to be honest it wasn’t Apple’s fault, that Pope got a little grabby with
his hands.
One in appearance is an early teenage girl. One interesting
thing about Briar, she’s one of the few beings in existence who has eaten the
true Forbidden Fruit. You know like from the Garden Of Eden. A creepy God tried
to tempt her into his room with it. She went into the room ate the fruit and
the God.
Gods taste like the best of candy snacks.
By the way, the fruit wasn’t an apple but a grape.
Maybe I should have made that story about Apple? But then
again I would have lost the whole grape thing because to make it interesting
I’d have to tie in her name to the fruit. I think I went the right direction in
the end.
Briar enjoys dressing like a boy from a BBC production of
The Christmas Carol. Her sister says her fashion is stuck in the past but Briar
reminds her that before she got use to this look she dressed like King Crawl
for decades and that makes Apple praise her younger sisters fashion choices.
If I ever write about King Crawl it will be proof I’m a
nutter.
The other one, Apple, looks like a late teenage young woman.
Apple is the older sister but follows the lead from Briar.
I guess I should share an Apple story to be fair. Apple was
friends with Mary Magdalene. This was before her Jesus years. Also before those
seven demons together tried to possess her soul. In fact it was her friendship
with Apple that opened the door to those demons in the first place.
Apple unlike her sister likes to follow current trends.
Right now she’s enjoying taking her dress cues from watching “How To” steam
punk videos online.
Briar and Apple have stayed alive so long, because yes even immortals
can be killed, but she has stayed alive so long by two mantras and they are by
knowing how to kill and knowing how to make money.
The knowing how to kill came from being the only daughters
of a warrior king in a time when women being raped and used like meat was a
matter of breathing so killing came to a matter of survival. Their father was a
king of his time but he had thoughts outside those times. He made sure both of
his daughters would live long lives by putting them in front of his best swords
to learn the steel, his best seers to learn the future, and his best wizards to
learn how to use their brains.
The knowing how to make money is when they learned people
would pay to have immortal cannibals take out their enemies. They learned that
lesson when they watched their father old in his bed surrounded by other kings,
admirers, priest, pontiffs, and politicians. All gathered to watch him die and
the moment he did they took everything he had from his riches, to his lands, to
the bed he died in, to his daughters.
Briar and Apple were packing their things for a trip. The
packing and the trip had nothing to do with the fact that they just ate Apple’s
latest boyfriend, in fact they have gotten quite good at covering up their
eating habits.
Being packed away are Briar’s cell phone, her laptop, her ereader,
her PS3, and all of her weapons that she could get through any sort of airport
or checkpoint security.
Being packed away are Apple’s clothes and accessories.
‘So where are we off to now?’ Briar asked her older sister.
‘We got a call from our old Irish contact. Seems they want a
politician taken out. Want the political winds redirected,’ Apple informed her
younger sister.
Politics are always more interesting when you get cannibals
involved.
