Joanshir
and the stranger had arrived near the outside walls of the city where they
rested and watched as hundreds if not thousands of armored vampires where
attacking the city. The stranger looked up as if trying to find the words to
use as Joanshir was looking for something in the ground, which was, near a huge
oak tree. As she was doing this he looked at her knowing he was looking at a
person who should not exist in any way.
‘Your
father saved my life when myself, Merlin, and Lancelot first battled these
creatures. He was supposed to stay behind but many thought we were on a suicide
mission and he did not wish to watch us die without him by our side trying to
keep that from happening. And we would have if not for him.’
She
found what she was looking for without acknowledging what he had said. She
pulled from the ground. It was a circular disk. She reached it out for the
stranger to take, ‘Hold onto this with me. It’s magic from Merlin. It will take
us to the side of the King.’
The
stranger took hold of the disk with a smile knowing what it was and both of
them disappear.
