The Poetry Of Eve Caesar
DAY TO DAY
They come to work for
the lives of their children,
Wanting to never see
them suffer like they have that is true,
Men and women trying
to prove that an American Dream is still alive,
They are the slaves
of the day to day lives,
Douching of a taste
of melody,
Awaiting the chance
of no more bitter tea,
Young feelings are
all that matter,
Turning money into
moral banter,
On the subject of
wasted lives,
Daring others to try
these things once or twice,
Among them some bad
apples fall,
Yearly going from
work to the mall,
They come to work for
the lives of their children,
THE HE
Leather boots,
Non-opening shoots,
And malice filled
groups,
Are his way of life,
Tanned brutes,
Hayed mutes,
And nursing groups,
Are her way of life,
TO SOMEONE OTHER THAN
MYSELF
I see an Angel flying
away in the distance,
Should be trying to
catch her,
Catch her so I can
say….
